A public workshop for a Text Amendment (TA24-0005) to Chapter 20.245 – Residential Manufactured
Home Park Zone of the San Marcos Municipal Code (Zoning Ordinance) will be held on September 4, 2025
at 6:00 p.m. The amendment applies to all 7 existing Age-Restricted, non-resident owned residential
mobilehome parks within the City of San Marcos. The proposed amendment updates Chapter 20.245 to
create an Overlay prohibiting the conversion of the subject mobile home parks from Age Restricted/Senior
Only parks to mobilehome park allowing residents of all ages.
